Yahoo on Thursday launched a new suite of software tools for mobile developers, many incorporating technologies gained with the company's recent acquisitions of Flurry and BrightRoll.


The new Yahoo Mobile Developer Suite was announced at the inaugural Yahoo Mobile Developer Conference taking place in San Francisco this week.


"Today it gives me great pride to officially announce the new Yahoo Mobile Developer Suite, built on five products to help developers, measure, advertise, monetize, and enhance their apps," Prashant Fuloria, a Yahoo senior vice president of advertising products, said in a blog post.
